First Post

I've set this blog up, and thought, to begin it, it would be brilliant of me to say something profound and deep in my first post.

I racked the corners of my brain, searching for that deep and hidden meaning of life that always illuded me, promising myself that I, and I alone, would be the one to share it.

And nothing came.

And then I realized that what I had to say didn't have to be brilliant, deep, or thoughtful, though it could be all those things at any given time. Nor did what I have to say be snarky, witty, or funny, despite the fact that there will no doubt be times when what I do say comes down to that.

It just had to be said.
